JOESCAN / TOOL GUIDE
Email breach checker
Check where an email address appears in available breach sources.
No scan runs on this page. Access and usage limits depend on your account.
What this tool does
JoeScan combines available email exposure sources and removes duplicate breach entries when they can be matched. Reports help you understand which incidents may affect an address.
How to use it
- Review breach names and available dates.
- Inspect the exposed data categories supplied by the source.
- Use the report to prioritize password changes and account checks.
What it cannot tell you
Coverage varies by provider. A result with no matches does not prove an address has never leaked. Provider outages and incomplete data are not clean results.
Before you start
Do I need an account?
You can read this guide without signing in. Running the tool requires a JoeScan account and may be subject to plan, verification and usage limits.
Are my results published on this page?
No. This guide contains no user results. Scan history is accessed in the signed-in workspace, subject to account permissions. Downloads and anything you choose to share are separate.
Does a reassuring result mean I am safe?
No. The result describes the information available to this check. Continue using strong unique passwords, two-factor authentication and up-to-date software.
